What's your view on men wearing make-up?

When I was in college the other day some dude had more slap on than most of the girls in here.

I'm of the view that make-up is very feminine. I might be old fashioned saying that but I don't have a massive problem with it. Just think it's very feminine.

Unless they're in front of a camera or in drag it just looks silly.

    Make up is for girls.
Just like pink clothing is for girls.

There is no grey area here, men..stop turning into fúcking women.
    It's sickening at this stage.

    Too many of these threads:

Men who wear make up - ghey

    Men who cry - ghey*

Men who are feminine - ghey

Depends on the makeup, I suppose. Lipstick, blue eyeshadow, nail varnish, that sorta thing, hopefully that's not what he was wearing. Heavy eyeliner, whiteface, Goth stuff like that? That's fine, not particularly effeminate in my book unless it's trying to be.

Its passable on TV,in real life I would shun any of my mates if they wore it!

Make up is for girls, and any guy wearing it just looks stupid, but each to their own.

I'd find it weird if a guy was wearing make-up, unless as was mentioned it was some goth thing or whatever but each to their own. If they want to wear it, leave 'em off, I still find it unusual though.

Men do not wear makeup. Human males may, but they're not men.

    Mean Girls Make-Up?

Is that a Lindsey Lohan line or something?

Well then, I'd be wondering. What makeup, specifically?

I'm not gonna shout "gay" because even the gay guys I know in real life don't wear makeup, at least in the normal course of the day.

Some guys used to wear eyeliner in the 80's and I've never thought it looked bad.

I prefer to be the one in the relationship wearing the makeup though, I'd hate to have to fight my man for my eyeliner! :)

I know a man that has a scar very red nasty one on his face and he is very self conscious and he wears this specialized make up to cover it up it makes him feel better facing the public with this and not having people stare at him

OP the person you were referring to could have had the same or a port wine birthmark and feels the need to cover it up

    Couldn't give a crap.

Bizarre really that people bother getting their knickers in a twist about what's on someone else's face.

Men wearing make up are either..

    The gay in the village

    or

Getting ready to go on stage.

If they are neither of the above then they are emo.

I voted WTF men wear make up?

That's generally because I've never seen a guy wearing make up, at least not to the best of my knowledge.

Are people really that insecure that a guy wearing make up is making you all uncomfortable?

Don't think it would bother me, nobody is forcing me to wear it.

I've seen males wearing make up before, only a bit of foundation so it seemed, bit weird but in this day and age . . .

Personally, I don't understand the trend but I don't scoff at those who do. If that is how they want to look then power to them. There were loads of people/idiots who presumed I was some weirdo .because I was a guy with long hair until they talked to me and I confirmed I was a weirdo (but that is beside the point):o
