DVR timing problem with UPC Digital+ HD

    Hi,

    just got a Digital+ HD box from UPC and i have recorded a few programs so far.

    I have had some problems when i try to record programs. For example if i want to record a program from 9:00pm to 9:30pm the box will record from 8:58pm to 9:28pm. This means that it catches the end of the previous program and misses the end of the program that I am recording

    What I'm thinking is that the time on the actual box is wrong and if i can change it by 2mins all my problems will disappear. But when i go into the settings menu there is no possibility of changing the time on the box.

    Anyone else having this problem, and is there any way to solve it.

    Don't have these problems myself, but:
    (a) Using your remote, go to Menu/Digital Video Recorder/Settings and check if anything other than "None" is set for "Extra time before..." or "... after program" has been set.
    (b) Some channels have poor schedule adherence/punctuality - ITV comes to mind but RTE are no saints either.

    Because of (b) above, I've 10 mins extra recording set after end time.
