music...i must admit that anything with pure musical amazingness is beautiful to me. anything i can fully appreciate is beautiful music.but of course there is some songs that do it more for me. this is one of my favourite all time songs and i know i at least converted Extrasupervery to the wonderful ways of Lisa Mitchell last night :)

people...gimme anyone with pale skin, preferably brunette, big blue or brown eyes (glasses are a plus) :) and there, in a nutshell, you have my perfect woman :)

and then you have places...the most peaceful, beautiful place i have ever been was Niagara Falls. apart from the horrible noise from all the rushing water it was just so beautiful and serene

Audrey Tautou is also easily the most beautiful woman alive.

Surprised at all of the ginger love in this thread, but not complaining at all :) As for what i think is beautiful, most things really. Ireland has some pretty amazing scenery, I love Glendalough. Michaels Buble's music is also quite amazing.

    Nature:

I've always found Sunsets (particularly the ones in the Algarve, like the one above) to be beautiful

    Real answer:
My grandparents live in a rural area in roscommon near the shannon. When I need to think about things and I'm down there, I sit by a lake the shannon connects to and just lie there listening to thomas newman songs, sometimes writing, sometimes just taking in the scenery. I could sit there for hours without even noticing the time pass. That to me is beauty, I get goosebumps even thinking of it.

Similarly when I was over in Lanzarote recently, in the morning I would walk towards these cliffs and climb down them, I'd sit there watching the waves crash against the rock, with the sun reflecting in the sea and just enjoy it. Best way to get rid of a hungover ever.

    Joke Answer:

    Nekkid girlz lololol

Love Explosions In The Sky, I only just mentioned them in the soundtrack to your angst thread. I'd recommend This will destroy you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evAFuAMxrSM&feature=related

Real answer time! A sense of humour and a decent knowledge of nerdy things is the most beautiful thing, I find.

Looks wise, I really like short hair. I mean short short hair. Colour is irrelevant! I also seem to find shorter girls more enticing. I don't know why.

Guys/Girls, do you prefer your opposite sex to be taller or shorter than you?

Shorter, definitely. You have to be able to hold them/hug them properly.

Height is fairly irrelevant for me,most of you have seen me I'm a fairly big guy[in all senses :pac:] so a women bigger than me is a rarity. I guess I prefer relatively tall girls, I.E: as long as I don't have to bend my knees to kiss her I'm cool with it,I've been in those relationships, not good for the back.

+1, nerdy girls are possibly the greatest quality. If I meet a red haired, relatively tall beauty who understands the internet I'm liable to propose on sight

You just described the last girl I messed up a relationship with :p

The best thing in the world, is when a girl smiles because of something you did. Love it.

I could post music and whatnot but I'd get annoyed because I'd leave stuff out. The most beautiful thing on earth, to me, is the earth.
I have a particular fascination with the northern lights.

    I love landscape photos too.

I love programmes like "Planet Earth and "Life" which bring you these amazing HD shots of the world and it's life.

I'd say it'd be pretty unanimous that guys prefer their women to be shorter than them and girls like their man to be taller than them.

I love ones that look like they are straight out of fantasy :D

This one was taken at Old Man of Storr, Isle of Skye, Scotland. It won BBC landscape photo of the year 2009.

I'm actually not too pushed, having one taller would be a negative point, but if she was hot...erm...I mean had a good personality, then I'd be willing to forget it. Only thing is she might not be keen on a shorter guy. Then again, if she's taller than me she's taller than alot of guys (sneak self-compliment).

    Unless she's like...giant altogether.

Ahh, I KNEW I saw that photo somewhere before! I love BBC's "In Pictures" section. :D

There's a thread in After Hours about that world's tallest model, so let's not ruin this thread by focusing on that story too much.
