UPC just get better and better, i order Digital + HD online and opted for self install. Because its a waste of time getting an engineer as its just plugging in a few cables. anyway a week later i get an email saying that "your address is not self install capable & as per our records" what crap is that about. why do you need a certain address to do a self install.

    has anyone come across this?

That makes no sense whatsoever then. Its basically just a box swap - you get a new box, hand back the old one

Are they refusing point blank to send out a box to you for self install?
