    Hi!
Good news, ive finished my piece.Been brilliant and have loved every second of writing it,so much so that i think im gonna miss the characters!
My problem is that i showed it to an agent friend before it was finished and she wants it by next Friday! i wrote the whole thing in pencil..dont ask i find it easier.
Is there some sort of scanner i can get and then edit it to get everything spot on?

not fancying day and nighting to type this up.

    Thanks all.

Realistically no. Even the best OCR software won't read handwriting (and pencil is fairly faint at the best of times) to a high degree of accuracy and at best you'd have to read through the whole thing fixing all the broken letters.

Why not explain to your friend that you'll have it ready when it's finished, or just type up a couple of chapters and give her those?

    Well done. Excellent work.

Just say that you wrote it in pencil, and unless she wants to read it that way, you'll need extra time to get it typed out. It shouldn't be a problem.

It may take a lot of time if you'll really want it to be scanned and edited. It is possible but then it takes many steps for you to finish doing it. And it may not reach the deadline
