    Hi guys

Just wondering how many people enjoy beading as a hobby? I've just really gotten into it and wondered how many are out there?

You'd be surprised how many people do it, I haven't opened my bead box in over a year but it's there sitting quietly in my wardrobe ;) I always love browsing bead shops when I come across them on holidays.. kind of like a kid in a sweet shop!!

Yeah I'm the same, its really a fun hobby as I'm sometimes a bit impatient so at least I can see a result quicker. Which shops would you usually buy from?

Well usually it's the Yellow Brick Road or Crown Jewels in George's Arcade.. I used to get stuff in Cork more so but I haven't been living there now for a bit. It's been ages since I've bought anything now though, still have enough stacked up to keep me going!

Im just starting out myself. Need a bit more practice before id be any good at it though. Its great to get into when you have a cold boring night in and always tend to end up with a finished piece by the end.

i am terrible for spending money on beads!

Ive meant to have a look in Crown Jewels for ages now but forget every time im in town. A good site is www.totallybeads.co.uk, its not too expensive (but it all adds up before you know it & suddenly ive spent a fortune!).

If youre ever out in the bray area theres a nice shop there, BDI, not too far from the dart station
