Just went out to Wilton and back from the Lough, the roads are quite bad, I reckon I will be lucky to make Galway for 10pm, heading off now, see ye (in a cyber sense) later folks

'twas ok, over two hours to get to Limerick, Mallow and Charleville got a good lash of snow and the roads were fairly bad, if it freezes on that there will be murder in the morning, although there was some gritting and road ploughing going on in fairness. Limerick on was fine, milder and rainy. Got to the house here about 20 mins ago, so happy out (ish).

Looks delicious.

Put him in the oven for 10 minutes, throw on a bit of salt and vinegar and you'll have a very nice snack.

Drove from Kerry to Cork, via Ballyvourney/Macroom.

Took three hours but was no bother at all. Two cars actually lost control that we saw, and it was because they were trying to overtake - i.e. idiocy. Dad also drove straight back the same way from Cork to Kerry, starting out at 6pm. No bother again. Snowing like mad the whole way - I just built a 5 foot snowman outside.

How is everybody. I got up anyways. The drive was dodgy at times...but like Roz said, once take easy it's ok. Took me 2.5 hours to get up, a journey which normally takes 1 hour. This morning was dodgy in spots around college road. One stage though the car would never stop at the little roundabout at end of college road.

Glad this weather is going. Nobody is in the office today, very quiet altogether. I've lots of work so unfort I have to work and here I am on boards :rolleyes:

Got into work no prob this morning, took a bit longer than normal but was ok, went from Ballinlough then Deerpark then past the CUH in Wilton, then main Cork Bandon Road then Kinsale

it's very quiet here (UCC) this morning.
I thought it was a bit easier to walk in town this morning.
it's not as icy yet. I reckon all that melty slush will freeze though.
