I'm 18.

Can't they start learning to drive when they're 15 in America? Think it's 16 to get a full license or something like that.

no 16 you get youre permit and then you take your driving test a few months later to get your full. and when youre 16 you cant be on the roads driving after 10pm, for 17 its 11pm and 18 its whenever. Mind you this is all in PA

I'm 17 btw

Because you're not legally required to have insuraunce over there.The car isn't that expensive,even over here I'd say most of us could buy a middling car,but the insuraunce is usually 2,000+ [for guys anyway]

Oh I'm an expert responsibility dodger, I'll be grand. Plus I think I still look about 17 or 18 judging by the frequency of requests for id/borderline rude comments: "you look ridiculously young!" yeah well you look really old you hag, give me my card back.
