Christmas Tree

    Any ideas where i can get rid of my Christmas tree? I always had artificial ones until this year so never had that problem before. thanks for any suggestions

    Cut, age and burn :-)

    If you cut it up into branches and logs (probably not worth keeping needles) and leave them in the garden for a couple of weeks before burning, otherwise they'll spark.

    There is a recycling centre in Ballisodare that takes them.
    As far as I know the ones in Sligo and Tubbercurry do as well.

    The recycling centre along the docks take them.

    We usually just throw it at the end of the garden and let it rot but cutting it up and burning it is also a good idea.
