I have been using the barret at the moment pretty much on every single map.

Rush maps - Marathon - lightweight - ninja = Barret

The M16A4 is great, your mags last ages and it's very accurate. Loved the RPD in COD4, but it's way to inaccurate even with a grip in this one

Scar-H for me (Flecktarn when I eventually play against you'll see why;)).
Usually I do use other guns like the Barrett and UMP on some occasions but the Scar would have to be my main one along with that the M4 Super 90 as a secondary.

    7.62 all the way :D

Bring it on Mle :pac:! For me its gotta be the Tar 21, high rate of fire, damage same a SCAR and great accuracy on full auto!

I've never had a problem with the RPD's accuracy other than for prolonged firing (and, with Stopping Power, 2 or 3 rounds is usually enough to kill someone so prolonged firing is rarely the case unless I'm spamming doorways)

RPD all the way (for now, until I find a new fun weapon to play with) - really fun (although not very practical :P) with an ACOG sight :D

What's with all the love for the Scar-h? It's has a small clip and high recoil.

Throw in a bit of Stopping Power though and it kills very quickly and the recoil doesn't come into it.

To be honest I've really noticed a problem with recoil on that gun.

For me its WA2000 (love it from the days of Hitman) with Thermal, Heartbeat sensor and Red camo. Serious.

I loved it in COD4, just can't get used to it now! I loved taking helicopters with it.

Did not think I would be using a sub machine gun but last week seen this guy use it (many times as he kept killing me with it) have started using the ump 45 with marathon and lightweight, commando just throw in dont use it much. Its great love playing free for all with it.

I use the Tavor with heartbeat sensor and silencer, but if things aren't going my way I use the ol' reliable M4A1:)

For me i use the scar with the acog sight and silencer and just sit around camping in the bushes and long grass picking of passers-by, checked my playing times yesterday and ive been playin online for 3 days 12 hours.
that is not cool! anyone use ps3?

I agree, especially when im aiming down the acog or thermal

I can't use it at all with scopes, I find the iron sights just fine. Lob on a silencer and Scavenger Pro and it's quite good.

Unlocked UMP Akimbo's last night and had a good game on Rust with them (still got slaughtered :D). I've a class almost like Jet Black's except I'm using Steady Aim instead of Commando Pro - helps a bit with the akimbo UMPs. Stopped using this Witch class a few weeks ago but restarted yesterday as I'm trying to Pro Marathon and Lightweight. Not as easy as it sounds, even on maps like Wasteland - I keep getting drawn back into the murdering.

RPD, with grip and extended mags - pretty accurate in short bursts and no need to reload!

Aug HBar in very close second.

Depending on the map, I break out the 50cal Thermal FMJ with Akimbo silenced G18s on Estate, Derail and Afghan, and on Skidrow and Favela I'll break out the MP5 with USP Tac knife, but on other maps and if I'm getting killed a good bit, I'll break out the ACR Red Dot with Akimbo G18s, they never fail me.

    FAMAS

Very high power and deadly accurate. With stopping power pro and red dot sight you only need the three rounds for a kill.

Oh forgot, its also good to use the Magnum with tactical knife, get a sentry gun and just run around with the smoke marker in your hand, very fast.

The L86 LSW with stoppin power and bling (grip/heartbeat sensor) is mine. Really power full with a decent range.

Very surpirising that nobody has voted for the Styr AUG.

Thats because its crap. An LMG's accuracy (or lack thereof) with a small mag. Im starting to really like the M16A4 now, started using it with silencer and heartbeat and its great.

Out of curiosity, what's the ammo capacity of the RPD with Extended Mags? I'm guessing 150 - currently working towards it (about half way there at the moment) and would be nice to know in advance just how useful it will be - mowing down the corridors in Highrise and Skidrow will be even more awesome :D

I can't understand how you could think that. The AUG is quite accurate when used in short bursts (and you rarely need more than a 3 or 4 shot burst, perhaps less with Stopping Power). All you need is a foregrip (any sort of additional sight will make the recoil a good bit worse though, which is kind-of annoying)

200 according to cod wiki. You don't have a spare mag when you spawn, everything is in the gun.

The reload is the killer with this gun:( But it's really satisfying when you can pin an enemy down with continuous fire!

    P90.

Acog and stopping power compensate for the short falls that infinity ward added to mw2.
It's got great mag capacity and it's light, so if you couple it with marathon, you'll be laughing all the way to the finish line.
