Multiplayer PC vs Playstation

    Possibly a stupid question. I've the PC version, mates have the PS3 version, can we play online together or am I left out in the cold? (I dont have a PS3 by the way)

    Nope, similarly xbox players and PSN players can't play together either.

    PC gamers would have too much of an advantage with K&M, dont know about xbox live and psn though

    If it was implemented,you'd just get console heads whining about pc players beating them all the time

    I dont think you understand the advantage of a keyboard and mouse and I'm a console gamer sometime pc gamer.

    Cross platform games(Shadow Run for example) have shown a trend of Developers dumbing down the accuracy of the weapons and handicapped the movement so console players would be on a even footing. The hallmarks of trying to play fair to a inferior control system.

    This would be terrible imo and the PC users would have too much of an advantage just with their mouse alone, never mind system specs!

    PC: move mouse across the 1foot*1foot mousepad, and shoot.

    In fairness any competent player could be just as good using a controller then they would keyboard and mouse. I've been a serious online console player for 3-4 years and a online PC player for over 10.

    let me clarify this,your saying somebody who plays an fps with a controller..would be just as good as somebody who plays with K&M?....if this is the case,you dont know what your talking about

    Console players would get stomped.

    Anyone that disagrees has obviously never played (or at least well) on a PC.

    It had came up in another thread that there is also lag on consoles between the controller and the console itself,whereas the K/M is a lot less.So if there was a PC vsConsole the pc would always get the shot off quicker.

    If the lag was made equal between the 2 who knows?I have spent 20years using keyboard and mouse and am completely use to it but I would like to think that if I had grown up using joypads for FPS that I would prefer them.Only ever use joypads for platformers/driving games.

    Having said that I have gotten use to the joypad on my xbox but aint anywhere near good enough as I was when playing on the pc
