Carry on Luggage - America

Story folks, Anyone travelled to the states since the detroit bomber incident occured? Are there any changes to the carry on luggage rule i.e. that you can't? or is it that they just go through all of your carry on thoroughly now? Am travelling to Atlanta tomorrow and just need to be sure if I can or can't bring carry on…

Rang Dublin Airport, could only get info about Aer Lingus but they don't have any restrictions at the moment, so can't imagine the others having any
