    well its ust 7km outside of blessington village so i didnt think it'd be that bad..

    Well those photos are from the other side of the Wicklow Gap, and it might be better over that side, but it gives you an idea of the general conditions around there. You're about 100m higher than Blessington too. Higher up the road is apparently impassable. Maybe give the folks at Kippure Estate a call and ask them.

    I was up around there this evening and roads were fine. Should be ok tomorrow, though given this evening's weather keep an eye out for debris and fallen trees.
