I really miss that feeling as you opened the sitting room door Christmas morning and it was all dark and there was that second where you wondered if he'd been there or not... and then the light would go on and you'd be dizzy looking at the presents!:o

I recognised my mum's handwriting on the presents.

I was 7 (I think) and hadn't written my letter yet. I asked my Mam if it meant I wouldn't get any presents. That's when she told me.

I think I always knew, like a strange man who gives out free presents, I dont think so............................ Yes I was always that cynical.

Think I was 11, I was looking at the back of a PS2 game I got for christmas and saw the gamestop tag on the back of it.
Did anyone else really hate the shop santas? My mam said today that she brought me to see santa in Arnotts when I was about three, and I wouldn't go in. Instead I stood outside the door and roared in at him 'just bring me a doll, will ya!' sounds like me all right:pac:

    "Whhhat?!" </3 *childhood ends*
"Oh and the easter bunny and tooth fairy too..."

One year there were like signs stuck to our presents with a Christmassy picture and our names, so my brother and I would know which was which. Basically I recognised the graphics and fonts as being from this crappy design software my dad had.

    Wow I was a cool kid. :D

Myself and my friend compared Santa's autographs - my friend's was signed Santa and mine was signed Dadaí na Nollag. My parents told me he was multilingual but I copped on to the handwriting thanks to the calligraphy set he gave me...

I was 9. Heard my mam say she'd go down to Argos to get the presents.

Well in Doctor Who they usually just take over another planet if their homeworld disappears. You'd also need to build another ****ty stadium to make it feel more like home.

Wish i was less of a smartarse when i was younger  From about 7 i'd try and wait up to see if it was mum and dad putting out presents or santa. I also counted the amount of carrots we had to see was the one we left out for rudolph put back :p Then for a while i'd be really cynical whenever there was a convo about santa til my older sis told me to shut up before i ruined it for my brother

I copped it when I was about 7.But for some odd reason[yeah,I'm odd] I said nothing about it until next christmas.
