Absolute disaster of a week. Had Jaaskelainen, Scharner and Rodellega to play today and I really needed them to score me some points.

25 altogether, worst week by a long shot. Gone from 1st in my private league to 3rd.

Next week is a double gameweek yeah?

    Who's playing twice?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,149 ✭✭✭BFassassin

Nice one zamora comes of the bench for nzogbia :D
Have 59 points now this week.
Would have been even better if Hangeland wasnt on my bench.

McFadden came in for N'Zogbia for me, that's a whole 2 extra points! :D

Up to 37 now, which is the average. :(

52 points, Ridgewell came in for N'Zogbia.

Won my cup game by 5 points :D

Won my fantasy cup game 52-26 :) Captaining Drogba was a bit of a disappointment but think I'll be saying good luck to him now anyway for a wee while. Captain choices are becoming more difficult each week!

Won my cup tie by four points with a whopping 32 points.

    Back of the net!

terrible week, did manage to win my cup game though, 36-22

    :o

Won my cup game 47-46. The team i was against emergency captain went by value to Drogba :D Instead of form to Dunne! Got very lucky :D

Wow very low-scoring week. 45 points for me but it moved me up all my leagues.

I also beat my South African opponent by 7 points in the cup.

However, I think any of us with Hart may be in line for a delayed bonus. There is no way in hell Howard should have gotten a bonus of 2 for no saves and 1 conceded. Thinking is that the BP guy got the teams mixed up (so instead of Fellaini, Larsson gets the 3, makes sense as he was apparantly outstanding today) and Hart gets the 2. Its not the first time they've budgied the bonus points, if anyone remembers Djimi Traore's 2 boni last year despite the fact that he hadn't played all season :-) FPL towers have been e-mailed so we will see.

    did they reply ?

There is a lovely generic e-mail that gets sent to anyone that complains about bonus allocation. Thats all. I though the BP allocation for that game was rediculous, but nothing will change it i'm afraid!

I'm out of the cup.. my lad go fifty something. That's the last I want to hear of the cup really.

hey folks when does drogba leave for nations cup? I presume he'll play on the 26th but did i hear right he'll be gone for the 28th.

Tryin to get game plan together as my league only allows 2 transfers per week and 50 for the season!!! Dont want to use them all up!!!

    Cheers

I was always up against it in the Cup this week, with my opponent due to bring in Zamora; I needed an eight point performance from Rodellega to progress but nooooo, snow wrecks that plan.

Is anyone here thinking that Villa might flip Arsenal this week? Looking at the stats Arsenal seem to be scoring a lot of their goals from intricate passing, resulting in a tap in etc. I just can't see Villa's most excellent backline giving an already weakened Arsenal attack the kind of space they need to get in behind the full backs.

As such, I'm debating swapping out Vermaelen for the Honey Monster, and Cesc Fabulous for either McFadden or Doyle....

Or even divest my team of either centre half and add an extra forward.

Honestly, swapping 2 of Arsenals best players out right before a very favourable double game week is madness IMO. Villas fixtures are getting tough. Can you post your team?

It might be a mistake to dump the Arsenal players with the double gameweek coming up...

It's GW20, and Stoke, Fulham, Arsenal, and Bolton all line out twice that week.

    Chelsea vs Fulham
    Stoke vs Birmingham
    Bolton vs Hull
    Pompey vs Arsenal

    Stoke vs Fulham
    Arsenal vs Bolton

Still glad I sold Mark Schwarzer mind - even with this double week I can see a horrible time for him. Might be more my while considering a Stoke midfielder/forward.

I meant swapping them out of my starting 11 onto the bench. My weekly transfer has already been done and dusted (Schwarzer out for Sorensen). I'm just thinking that I can't see Arsenal keeping a clean sheet, but if Cesc stays injured (and he might) for this one then where do the Gunner Goals come from? Dunne and Collins should be able to shut out Eduardo with ease IMO.

team as it looks so so far this week:

    1: Sorensen

    2: Ivanovic

    3: Shawcross

    4: Vermaelen

    5: Johnson

    6: Young A

    7: Benayoun
    (C)

    8: Gibson

    9: Fabregas

    10: Milner

    11: Rodallega

    12: Hart
    Goalkeeper

    13: McFadden
    Forward

    14: Dunne
    Defender

    15: Doyle
    Forward
