Sorry about the last thread mod. Can anybody tell me what shops in dublin or pay over the intenet sites i can buy cubase 5??

first Q is are you a student?
if so contact steinberg about a student license, probably need a letter from your collage.

if not then thomann, digital village, dolphin, GAK, x-stores, steinbergs own web site., dawsons, etc.
maybe give x-store a ring, look in the golden pages and see if anyone else local is selling it.
also are you sure you need the full package, http://www.steinberg.net/en/products/musicproduction.html

and do you need any hardware at the moment, as in soundcard, midi keyboard, some
come with an le version of cubase which is plenty to get started with and there' an upgrade path that may save you a few quid.its how i got on the cubase ladder.

Althought i'm still on sx3, it does everything i need and more and my pc doesn't have the grunt for cubase5, so i'll be upgrading the pc before upgrading the software.
Dont forget to buy a dongle too, about €30 but you need one to install and authorise cubase.

Jeez i didnt think there would be so much hassle to buy something like this haha

im only looking to get started with the basics really thats all
