Windows XP - what's an Administrator account?

I want to run some software on my home PC, which has Windows XP installed.

I have transferred the CD contents onto the PC but the PC states "This program requires at least 3MB of free virtual memory to run." and so won't run the program. The PC is maybe 3 years old at most so there shouldn't be a problem concerning memory.

I looked at the CD box and it states ""For XP this product requires an Administrator account".

So I was wondering what is meant by an Administrator account?

You have your pagefile/virtual memory turned off.

In a home situation, basically its the person that owns the computer and only he/she would have full access to the 'engine room'

you can give admin rights to other users but only if you are an administrator allreadly.

Ok, I managed to solve that problem.

Now what's happening when I click to open the program, it's bringing up a message which states:

Problem opening
“C:\DOCUME~1\user\LOCALS~1\Temp”.

Then when I click "ok" it states:

Script error: Handler not defined

#DFWINSTL
