I want to create this effect on all images posted to the main news area on a website. Can anyone offer advice on how its done?

A quick Google for Photoshop Reflection Tutorial throws up lots of tutorials.

Check this one for size. Same method can be applied to logos, Images etc...

the best way is to duplicate all of the layers of the picture you want to get a reflection of, merge them in one (select all, ctrl+E) then edit>transform>vertical flip, then move it down just under the original picture you want reflection of, go to blending of that new merged layer, set gradient to white>transparent.

    Hope it helps!
