Really why don't I see it? Must be my crppy internet connection! Is it too big ye reckon?

    Naa it's lovely, don't change a thing!

Can you see mine or anybody elses on the thread? If not, you have them turned off in settings in your usercp.

The image is 3 pixels too tall which doesn't really matter. Mine did get reported by some guy for that before though and I had to make it smaller. Doubt they will notice yours.

I'd replace your two text lines with this: (removing the question marks beside url and /url)
[?url=http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055773249]Show your support for a holistic health and alternative medicine forum![?/url]
    Just a suggestion!

That will make the line in your sig this:
Show your support for a holistic health and alternative medicine forum!

I think it's better! I leave a space between images and text though as I'm a weirdo!
    Can you see sigs yet?

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 60,119 Mod ✭✭✭✭Tar.Aldarion

So whats de story I have to get people to respond on the thread expressing interest and then the admins might consider it? I reckon they're not gonna go for it though tbh judgin by that guys post already!

    Why thanks!

Ah ok, if you can't see any it's just the setting.

Ye it's left there open for a while and if people want it made the admins consider making it. Needs some support loike!

I remember campaigning for the creation of this forum. :)

Ha deadly how long ago was that? was it you and sweet rasmus got it up and running?

Ha deadly how long ago was that? was it you and sweet rasmus got it up and running?

It was suggested by a poster called hugh heffner in april 2005, so nearly at the 5 year stage now! I spammed the thread a lot with things like 'i pray to the almighty god quorn whom created us to create once more' :p
I made most the threads for a while hehe.

Shabadu was the first moderator, when it was created I told sweet-rasmus about it and she joined in, I believe at this point she thought the thread suggesting it was the forum itself. :p
The I replaced shabadu when a thread was made asking for me to be made moderator and I asked an admin for sweet-rasmus to be made a moderator too.
The litte history is complete! It has become much more active these days, I like. :)

    Wicked recipe link: http://theppk.com/blog/pumpkin-french-toast/

Also does anyone else think a sticky thingy of the most wacky/interesting vegan and veggie recipes would be a good idea? I'm on an eternal quest to find recipes that are unique and that I haven't eaten anything similar to before.

Does anyone have Veganomicon? was thinking of ordering it but reviews are a bit iffy!

I like the idea of a wacky food link. I dont think I have anything to contribute....still it will be fun looking. :)

I'm actually dying to try put all the wierd vegetables you see in the chinese and Indian food markets.
It is half my motivation for wanting to live in Dublin.

Ha ha ha check out one of their forum titles:
    Vegan the Gathering III: Veganstock

The brown bean curd that is circulating around us is not specifically too good. It is suggested that you stay away from that. Of course it's your own tofu, so be my guest, but please be advised that there is a warning on that one, okay?

Link tells me to log in, must I register to see? The mystery may get the better of me...

I have it, it's great! I always end up modifying the recipes to suit myself though. It has aided me greatly in my adventures in vegan baking. In some ways I actually prefer Vegan with a Vengeance, it's like a slim novel and Veganomicon is the sprawling epic :p

I do also enjoy the PPK forums, only reading though as I'm not registered. Their food porn forum is spectacular :D
