Okay so I have Windows XP on my netbook and I decided to get Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix. So I downloaded what I thought would be a .iso file but now I have a folder called ubuntu with a few sub folders but I can't find any .iso files. What am I doing wrong? I want to put the .iso file ona memory card and transfer to the PC to burn it to a disk.

Sounds like something might have extracted the files from the ISO. If you have software that would do that automatically, you would need to disable that before downloading.

Would converting back to .iso work or will I have to download again?

It would be best to redownload I think.
