    Get the Slanket cheaper here...
    http://www.feelunique.com/search.php?sp=1&searchtext=slanket&x=0&y=0

    And 5% back with Bethrifty.ie

Ordered one a week ago and it arrived in about 3 or 4 days

That's shockingly expensive for such a gimicky thing, they sell them at the markets here in Amsterdam for 6 quid

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,630 ✭✭✭Oracle

Polite notice to those who have joined the Slanket thread late. You can get them for €8 in Penneys. There's no need to pay €30 online or travel to Amsterdam and pay €6. Even with Ryanair thats gonna cost you more than €2 .....

That's very witty and all, but i was clearly talking about the person who posted the online price and was making the point that they can be bought for much cheaper from a multitude of places, one of which is Penneys, another of which is a market in Amsterdam. Clearly I wasn't advocating the latter, rather I was criticising the online price.

I agree the online price is crazy .....

:(I know, tried myself yesterday and they wouldn't ship. It seems like a very random item not to ship though:confused::confused:

JML also sell the PedEgg, it's a hard skin remover/grater for feet, but I guess they wouldn't sell many calling it that. JML sell these direct and through chemists for €15 to €20.

I thought I got a bargain getting one of these for $3.23 or about €2.20 from DealExtreme. But they're cheaper in Guineys at €2, and they're in the original PedEgg packaging. Better than DealExteme, who send you just the PedEgg in a jiffy bag, although they do delivery it free worldwide.

Good product, grate value, from DealExtreme and Guineys! :)

I had a look at that couch cosy in Penny's today. Terrible fabric, feels very coarse and light in my opinion.

Anyone know of an online retailer that sells the slanket and takes Laser?
Or anyone that has them in stock in Dublin somewhere (preferably Blanch)?

Yes. Protx (Credit card) Paypal (Credit card) Bank transfer.

Paying by bank transfer means setting up a new payee since im with BOI which takes about a week or so (interent banking). The other way would be going to the actual bank and making a deposit, in which case I may aswell buy it from a shop and defeats the whole purpose of buying online.

Honestly, why some etailers in Ireland do not accept Laser is beyond me.

Anyway, think I may end up just getting a snug rug from argos.

gstore.ie are crazily expensive for the SLankets but as not many places here have them I suppose they can get away with it.
