Need to make 2 transfers this week
    Out - Essin In - ???????
Out - Rodegella In - Defoe or Keane ??? Who you think lads

The second one is a no-brainer if you have the cash. Keane hasn't been playing much lately.

    I would go for Defoe.

I'm torn as to whether or not I'll make a transfer this week. I might chance it and leave well alone.

Anyone got any thoughts on my best goalkeeper choice here:

    Sorensen (Home to Wigan)
    Given (Away to Bolton)

I think there's clean sheet potential for both so I'm 50/50 on it.

Any thoughts on how well Fab might play against Liverpool? I'm gonna take off my Pool tinted glasses cos we have been shipping goals.

Fab or Drog or Defoe or Roonster as captain??

Sorenson, home team will always have better chance of clean sheet when not playing big 4..

Tough call as all have a good chance to score, although Rooney is doubtfull i think. Id go for Drogba, as Defoe usually scores in spurts and 5 goals in one game recently is quite a spurt!

Want to bring in Defoe because he should get a few goals/assists at home to wolves, but don't know who to drop? I'm leaning towards Rooney (Home to Villa)

Other than that, it's just who to pick as captain. I've been picking the totally wrong choice for the past few weeks!

    Suggestions welcome! :D

Defoe, maybe Lampard as good differential if you are chasing a lead.

Any chance Mickey Owen will start this weekend. Might take a punt on bringing him in instead of Agbonlahor, or else would you bring in Defoe. Also, opinions on Rooney v Drogba

Just noticed there that there a few teams not playing next gameweek (17) which is midweek next week.

Fulham, Stoke, Hull and Everton by the looks of it..

Thinking of getting rid of Cesc for Lampard? Chelsea appear to have the easier 2 games - Everton & Portsmouth. Are my crazy ??

I'd be going for Lamps. Arsenal dont look like the same team without RVP and I think he was a big part in Cesc doing so well in FF. This is not to say he wont have good games and get few more goals/assists etc. But I think Lamps will be the more consistent of the two. Just my thoughts.

Depends on when you got Cesc in. If you have him from the beginning and get rid of him now it will cost you another 0.6m to get him back in.

I'd keep Cesc hes an assist machine and also should really have scored 2 goals last week, (pen and cleared off line by Eboue), he seems to offer more of a goal threat than Lampard aswell this season.

    Disagree.

Wolves is easy for Spurs but after that it's City folowed by Blackburn and Fulham away - not easy fixtures for a forward.

The top sides are going to get a bucketload of points over the next 7-8 fixtures. Just look at their fixtures particularly Utd's and Chelskis. Rooney and Drogba could get bags of points.

Don't forget Drogba's off to the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations. It's on from 10 January - 31 January so I wouldn't expect to see him after the match on 28th December.

Suprised at everyone going for Defoe, they have harder games coming up after Wolves. If there was ever a time he was going to be rested for a game chances are it will be now and Crouch and Keane will start. Not worth the risk bringing him in for it imo.
