Ubuntu does not detect free space in mp3 player

    Hi

    Ive got a creative zen 30Gb media player that is totally formatted and empty. When i use windows xp to see how much space there is-it says 27.6GB which is right i think. On the other hand when i connect it to ubuntu it says that i have only 2.9GB free and that the file system type is gphoto2. What is going on?

    What are you using to view the file size with, and what program do you intend to use to put media onto it?

    Im not really sure to be honest. When i connect the media player via usb drive it comes up on my ubuntu desktop. I then right click once and click on properties-this shows me how much free space there is. I was hoping to move the files with copy and paste. When i was using linux mint version 5 and 7 the media player was working fine. Under ubuntu it seems causes this problem :(

    try `df -h` on the command line?
