I installed BullGuard Internet Security after getting all updates from Microsoft for my OS (XP Home).

Somehow (don't ask me how) another "antivirus software package" (it's clearly not legit) gets downloaded onto the computer. I never authorised it to download so I'm stumped as to how it got there, I'm very careful with stuff I download.

The software makes a balls of IE8, only opening the product webpage and random porn sites, causes the MS firewall to turn on and off, and basically any program I opened from Word to the antivirus definition update for BullGuard, I was told that it was "infected." Windows update told me my antivirus was out-of-date (installed 1 day) and randomly caused a load of those red shields with an x through them to appear on the taskbar.

I contacted BullGuard helpdesk and was on for 3 hours trying to solve it using Malawarebyte, didn't work. Moved onto Combofix, and when I rebooted, the blue screen of death appeared (error message 0x0000007e). Same with safe mode but with a slightly different error code.

    Short answer, computer says no.

Boot from the OS disk and (Make disk drive 1. on boot list in bios) and use that to run system restore.

Virus wont be running, so you should be clear.

Wot? No Mahalia Jackson? Ella? Sarah Vaughan? Sarah Dash? Jaki Graham (best voice ever from Brum)? Patrice Rushen? Phyllis Hyman? Cheryl Lynn? Chaka Khan? Melba Moore?!?!? k d lang FFS?????? She has better breath control than even Karen Carpenter

I assume Alison Moyet and Sam Brown are missing 'cos it's a yank list. No non-English singers either... where's someone like Ofra Haza? As for Whitney, her voice was a gift from God to the human race and she f'd it up.

Edwin Starr (lovely bloke, God rest him)? Bobby Womack? Teddy Pendergrass? Marvin Gaye? Yer man from the Winans?

Yes, Sinatra should be in it. Tony Bennett should be in it too, though he drives me nuts. No, Bono shouldn't – excellent lyricist, not a great singer. God also gave us Luther, and took him back too soon. Dance With My Father made me cry.

I guess my list is as biased as the Strolling Bone's :)

Freddie Mercury should not be at 18.If anything he should be in the top 5.

    That looks interesting,
One of the reasons i always hated Medal of Honor (and call of duty for that matter) was the whole WW2 thing that has been done to death long ago. Looks like they are following the Modern Warfare avenue with it though so it could be good. :)

Operating directly under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors are called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators.

Over 2 million Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines wear the uniform. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane of existence above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and has been developed with Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players will step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan.

There is a new enemy. There is a new war. There is a new warrior. He is Tier 1.
