I saw an ad on the telly last night for The Snuggie which is now being sold in Ireland via JML for €15.

Thing is that Pennys have been selling "Coach Cosy" for some time now for €8. its the exact same thing for a cheaper price.

"The product in Penneys is not as good as The Slanket.. it's not as soft!"

I have the one from Penneys in brown.. tis grand!

    Whole?! Christ, that's impressive!

    I can imagine the conversation:

Ron Burgundy faceman: "What? You pooped in the refrigerator? And you ate the whole... slanket? How'd you do that? Heck, I'm not even mad; that's amazing. How 'bout we get you in your p.j.'s and we hit the hay. "

I have one of the Penneys "Couch Cosys" too! Don't get much of a chance to use it though:( I'd say there's little or no difference between the slanket and athe penneys one, I had a feel of a snuggie in heatons and could feel no extra softness:pac::pac:

JML don't actually sell the Slanket they sell the Snuggie .
I'm sure it's a fine distinction as the above posters have said. Just thought I'd mention it for the sake of any "Slanket nazis" though.

When we were on holidays in the summer the kids borrowed cosy blanket things which were more like a polar fleece poncho with arms definitely not these blanket with arms type thing.

Anyone know what does type ones are called and where I might get one?

    Thanks

    D-M.

much to my shame, i bring my Coach Cosy to rehearsals with the Boards Drama Group every week. Cos our rehearsal space is cold and given im the director, i mostly sit and watch.

Its a good thing I didnt set up the group to meet wimmenz!

I believe the bargain shop in Arnots had them, not exactly sure, but I think it was 20 for 2, and they're the JML ones

The big difference between the JML one & Penneys one is the JML one has to pay for expensive TV advertising and the penneys one doesn't.

otherwise its the same material doing the same job and as I doubt any (maybe a few) will be going outside the house in them, colour, fit & looks don't matter a jip.

I'm in the states at the moment (Orlando) and they're selling the Snuggie for $10 in 7 Elevens :) My brother picked one up for our mother who's one of those permanently cold people.

    This made me chuckle audibly.

I saw the JML one and was seriously dissapointed.
Is the slanket not a poncho type garment?
JML to me was pants, no better than a hospital gown!:)

Why would you need one in a heated house? I saw ads for one of them which said it would keep your hands warm from icy cold or similar words. icy cold in modern houses?

Or just wear a long sleeved top and use a regular blanket.
