Where is the correct place to put blusher? Is it in the hollow of your cheek or on your cheekbone??

Hi I always used to have trouble with blush...I find the easiest way is to make a really cheesy smile and apply onto the apple of your cheek and work back up into the hairline at an angle!! Youtube has some really good tutioral's on makeup! (its where i learned most my tricks!!)
that's one i thought was good because she does both powder and cream blush!!!

I did a makeup course and was tought to use a dark shade under your cheek bones to give a hollowed out effect and a lighter/pinker shade brushed lightly across the top of your forehead, the bridge of your nose and the apple of your cheeks to give a sun kissed/healthy glow..

    Works for me :)

I'd do the same thing with the smiling like a maniac, and then applying it to the apples of my cheek :) Brush in one direction to keep it looking somewhat natural if you're using powder blush!
You can use a slightly darker colour in the hollow of your cheek to contour if you want to too, but I normally wouldn't use a blush to do that! :)
