Because Ireland lagged so far behind the rest of Europe when it came to banning TV advertising, all new ciggarette brands were trialed in Ireland.

If they could not get a market share with in 10/11 months they were dropped.

By 'Virginia Gold' I presume you meant 'Golden Virginia'?
Anyway its self rolled all the way for me. Usually Old Holborn, Drum or Golden Virginia.

Worst cigarettes ever are 'Safari' from Kenya. At 70c for a pack of 20 I still smoked them.

I smoke very rarely, but when I do, it is L&M which cost 7.75 and are very smokable. Smoked everything though, major, rothmans (fcuking rank) B&H john player blue, malboro, carrolls, silk cut etc etc.

Camel Blue myself, had to change from saying Camel Lights cause i find it confuses some shop assistants. It's illegal to have the word 'light' on cigarettes
in Ireland so half the time, they'd give me the the yellow pack assuming that was the light one.

The new dark pack is annoying though, it certainly isn't 'blue' and it certainly does not look 'light'!

In Indonesia at the moment and they are serious smokers here. The country has a population of 255 million (4th largest in the world after China, India and Us).

Practically everyone here smokes. It's unreal. Even on minibuses, buses, restaurants. Everywhere. What's really sad is that women have their kids on their lap and there they are smoking away.

Anyway, not only do they smoke loads here, but their cigarettes are seriously bad for you.

I smoke Marlboro Red, which are considered one of the strongest brands you get at home. I compared the Tar and Nicotine of a Marlboro with a popular local brand and these were the results:

Marlboro Tar= 13mg

Local Brand Tar= 38mg

Marlboro Nicotine = 1.0mg

Local Brand Nicotine 2.9mg

I mean, what the fuuck?

And all brands over here are like that. Crazy.

I like Marlboro Red and John Player Blue. I don't really like Marlboro Lights. They also seem to be the cigarette of choice for posh students.

Their Marlboro even seems to be worse than the Marlboro over here. Funny how those cigarettes are so bad, makes one wonder what the DIY ones being made on the QT over here are like.
