UPC customer phone number, 1908

Anyone know what the deal is with 1908? I was tryign to ring to check my account and pay a bill, but all I get is the guy checkign the account number, then it jumps to "card replacement menu" and asks me to press 1 if my new viewing card is working ok. After that , I get "thank you, goodbye". I cant get into anythign else.

I had to ring that number today as I inserted a new card into the box as requested by them. They want people to ring them when the new card is inserted to confirm that all the stations are working.
They must be concentrating on card replacement at the moment.
