    From yahoo answers...
    red dot is a little bigger and just a red dot. Holographic sight has a red dot but also a square or circle or some shape around the red dot. This help me because when my red dot is on an enemy head and he's ducking behind a corner i cant really see if he Pops his head out because of the red dots size. on the other hand i fell like the holographic sight gives me a frame in which to place what I am shooting at!

    scar h with the holo sight,
    plus depending on map, launcher or machine pistol with red dot
    if i come across an m4 i usually replace my second with it , and failing that and i just completely run out of ammo, anythin i can pick up lol

    They're supposed to be more accurate - parallax free - when you're moving the sight around, although I can't really see the benefit in the game.

    If you were to use the analogy of iron sights red dot would be the equilavent of only having the notch or rear sights ensuring that the user has to line up perfectly with the weapon for accurate shooting. Holographic would be like having both the notch and the post so the user knows that the are looking directly down the weapon and not slightly off to the side.

    I've read somewhere that the holo sight has a slightly faster ADS.

    Mostly use SCAR with holo sight and heartbeat sensor but as of recently a simple M16 with holo sight has been seeing alot of action, COD4 style :P

    Just unlocked the ACR asualt rifle - KICKS ASS. My k/d went must have gone way up straight away after I swapped to it from M4

    I've really gotten into the WA2000 with thermal scope and heartbeat sensor. A headshot with the sniper rifle is so satisfying!

    AUG HBAR w/ grip and sleight of hand pro is one of the best weapon classes in the game.

    Highly mobile, very powerful, almost no recoil, very long distance.

    M16 sucks. All I do with that thing is die. ACR on the other hand is amazing

    haha, I find it suits me!! got some long streaks with that M16!! :)

    I am only getting use to the ACR... so they would be my 2 guns I would use mostly.

    I'm an M16 man but lately i have been using the Tar gun and its sweet, i find the red dot sight is dirt with this gun so i just look down the barrel, noob tube and fmj for the win with this gun! Also stick on danger close and noob tube to get multi kills!

    Agree about the red dot sight - its too big and obscures your view - same probvlem with the F6000 or whatever it's called.

    Big maps - M4 bling pro, holo and FMJ/pp2000 same attachments

    Small maps P90 red-dot with Sleight of hand pro/shotty

    Looking forward to getting the AK47 - only a few levels to go :)
