    Hey guys, just wondering on behalf of my girlfriend how do you go about getting an extension on a assignment?

    all help would be beneficial and appreciated

    Ask the lecturer in person. They can say yes or no, so have a good story ready :D

    and is it possible to ask for an extension on the day that it is due in? and does getting an extension lose you any marks?

    An extension doesn't lose you marks. Handing it in late without getting an extension from the lecturer will mean that the essay will either lose marks or not be marked at all, depending on which department it's for. :)

    (best get an extenstion)
