    It was 6/1 7/1 before 12. Now its generally 11/2. Mell Collier hasnt tipped a winner this month and generally has a poor record. I think I will wait and see if it drifts. When they drift they usually dont win.

    Mel Collier has a 10% strike rate since I started tracking in October. Everyone who has commented on his performance prior to that was very negative. He is now 0 from 8 this month and 2 from 12 last month. I would love to see his stats for the last 24 months.

    Latest display on the level at Leopardstown was tame. However, he was beaten just ½-length by Otterstown Lad over course and distance in April, and has claims if able to reproduce that effort.


    The Big Orse
    Useful bumper winner in 2007/8. Fair form all starts over hurdles, making an encouraging return when chasing home an improver over this trip in October, but handicapper taking no chances.
