Hello, I Was Wondering How Can I Connect To My Computer In Another House Through Remote Access Of The Router, Or Even, Can I?

I Need Certain Files O The Computer And Have No Way Of Getting Back To The Computer As It Is Half Way Up The Country.

It can be done but you would have to have hands on access to other machine (and sometime appropriate additional software) or someone else at the other end to do things for you also.

Can you not get someone to upload them to a service like www.rapidshare.com so that then you could download them?

I Have Set Up Remote Access On The Router and Have Access To The Router Settings And All. And I Could But It Would Mean My Mam Sitting At My Computer And That Could Be Dangerous As She Is Computer Retarded Lol

google teamviewer - its also free but you will need someone at the other end to give u the password generated
