    Where does it say we, the gamer wouldnt mind paying for it?
    I wouldnt pay **** to play this game online. Its not that good.

    Where does it say pay to play?

    Monetise doesn't automatically mean pay to play, and in this case I'm betting heavily it will never mean that. Halo 3 is monetised in a way. You can pay a few hundred MS points to get extra storage space for videos, photos and maps. Just an example.
