Aww crap. Along with Fabregas he was one of the rocks of my team. I didn't forsee having to replace him. Just when he was getting into his stride as well.

So, this week I made my (2) changes early - basically cash was tight and I knew the two Fulham players I wanted in would go up in value throughout the international break cause they've a double gameweek now.

Now Drogba, Cole and RVP all out.

It's actually OK for the next gameweek as everyone on my team has decent matches but the three above, especially RVP are about to drop seriously in value.

Should I take the four point hit to swap RVP out even though the best I can see is introducing Rooney(home v everton) or Eduardo (away v Sunderland)??

RVP's 10.8 now. He's 10.5 to me as I bought him when he was 10.2. I'm surely going to lose some on him as he'll be sold en masse this week?

What would you do - lose the four points or take the drop in value???

Disaster. Benayoun, RVP, A. Cole, Lampard and possibly Drogba out. All my most consistent performers in one go. Going to lose over 1 million in value and possibly a lot of points if I transfer them out. I wonder what good news Wednesday will bring?

This is terrible, my 3 chelsea players are out if so, Cole, Lampard and Drogba. And they are playing Wolves at home next, this should have been a great week for me.

considering Drogba, RVP & Torres are all out im fairly happy with my attacking options and unless prices change next week after Evertons double game week i plan to use my extra cash to bring in Kuyt for Cahill.

Have the rules changed? Didn't think you could play 2 at the back.

I thought I was bad with Lampard and A.Cole out, but looks like a lot of people are far worse off with Drogba and Van Persie too. C.Cole is doubtful for next weekend, so I'm going with:

Out: Lampard, C.Cole
In: Ballack, Rooney.

I'm keeping A.Cole, he shouldn't have too much of a lengthy lay-off and I don't want to lose the value on selling and buying him back. I have enough cover.

I'm waiting for the internationals to finish to finalise the transfers, but for the next GW I have:

Sorenson

Evra
Vermaelen
Dunne
Shawcross

Ballack
Fabregas
Milner

Bent
Saha
Rooney (c)

didnt think you could play 253 but i just tried replacing one of my 3 man defense with a midfielder and it allowed me so i guess you can. Defenders have not been getting me points this season really with the occasional exception of the two i have starting so i think this formation will suit more

edit: AHHH FUP, confirm changes and then it lets me know i cant do it FFS why let me change it in the first place, dang why did i make those subs now!

Have you confirmed the changes? You definitely need 3 defenders.

Got rid of van Persie for Eduardo, took the 4 point hit in order to save some money when van Persie's price plummets.

Thinking about swapping Lampard for Gerrard too, it's another 4 points but if Gerrard does anything against Man City then I'll make that back.

Those defenders have been a bit of a disaster all season but they have nice fixtures. Saha and Dunn have 2 games, and the Arsenal guys, Anelka and Agbonlahor are always good for a goal.

A lot of player were injured before the internationals were played. People got rid of them before their price dropped.

True but a lot of people brought in RVP though including a rival in my private league. Can't say I'm happy about it though he's been brilliant for me since I brought him in.

Lampard out for Dempsey is my only planned changed. Also interested in changing Figueroa (who is on my bench) for a double gameweek player which would hopefully be worth the 4 point deduction.

When you sell a player, you get half the value he increased by since you bought him, rounded down. So when he drops to 10.7, you'll only get 10.3.
