hot water bottle? plus duvet :D

it seems quieter outside - the rain must be having a break.

I'm so glad our heating is working, it was on the fritz until this week-not good when you can see your breath in your bedroom and your sitting room is colder than your garden! Hot water bottle and duvet idea is good all the same

Future winter tip i got from a smart girl: if sleeping in a single bed, try sleep in a double duvet for that extra nice warm feeling:D I actually haz a headache right now:( i usually never get teh sickles of any sort...time for bed! Night all:D

Bummer, I thought my apt was bad. The heating only comes on once a day (controlled by the landlord..think he may be related to Cromwell or king Henry) round six, when i'm not there!

    But flooding!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,629 ✭✭✭raah!

Yeah, serious stuff, it was gushing in the door, I tried to stop it with some tissue, which to my embarassment my family saw when they got here. They had some laughs alright. I did manage to divert the stream leading to the house though with an outside table. Now I'm muddy :P

A tissue? Ha, I bet Noah wishes you were about in biblical times.
Although i'm also unsure of how a table would stop a flood either.
What kind of monumental flood is this?!?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,629 ✭✭✭raah!

It were a few inches like, there was a table on it's side and chairs to divert the flow :).

yes, yes ccr, I have seen the rain.

Cocoa (capitalised for start of sentence, not proper noun :P ) is out today, he doesn't have reading week.

But he's not a slave-y type person, in fact, I did some sewing for him last night. I fear I am the servant in this friendship.

I had a sneaking suspicion of that alright :P
I'll give him this he has great taste in slaves!
Has he ever actually made a knish...or it that you too?

Do you have exams coming up? It seems an odd time to have a reading week.

You don't suppose there is a reason why they put us under so much pressure?
Like that they are trying to train us for some horrible post university reality? :(

When I worked in the design office in LJ. The fridge was stocked with an endless supply of licquor. To keep us serfs pleased on all nighters. :P
