Shadow on my 40" Samsung

I've just noticed a shadow on my 40" LCD flatscreen. Its a couple of inches from the left side of the screen, running from top to bottom, about 8" high & becomes visible when the background is a bright colour. Its not a great inconvenience but I'm wondering if its a symptom of something worse to come?? The TV is a Samsung…

The TV is a Samsung 40" & is 10 months old.

Any advice welcomed.

I've seen this on 2 samsung lcd tv's in the same area you described, It doesn't seem to get worse though, Your tv is still in warranty so it might be worth telling the shop where you bought it about the problem.
