Well on PS3 you just need to quit the game, start it again, and it will offer you the patch while it's loading up.

It means I had to download update 1.02.

However it doesn't seem to have resolved the issue.

And yes this is PS3 I'm on

I think the problem is with playstation if you go to psn website it says 'maintenence in progress' i tried to stick on a game of cod4 and i couldnt get online with it either.

indeed .......mine now says error code 80710092

80710092 - "An error has occured. you've been signed out from the ps network" - (connection dropped?)

It was released last night (1.03) - they now just need Sony to make some change on the PSN presence servers - something on them was disabled the other day when the PSN went into meltdown (thanks to MW2)

Confirmed - invites are working fine now - just had a nice clan war with some crowd called [DogZ] - 9 of us versus 9 of them (they all started dropping as we kicked their asses... :-)
