hand luggage and a suit carrier?

    hey so im going to edinburgh tomorrow morning with ryanair. i only selected hand luggage but also have to bring a tux. Would i get away with having hand luggage and a suit carrier?
    Anyone else tried this and had any problems?

    You can only have 1 piece of hand luggage with Ryanair - so that's a no. They'll make you check one piece and pay for it/dump it or you won't be flying.

    You may have to wear it ! A good suit back should have enough room to fold over and put your other stuff into though, that's the way I've done. Ryanair have really gone overboard on this one, you'll have to find a way to get 2 into 1..

    Had a similar problem myself before, my carry on bag had some straps on it though so I just strapped the suit carrier to the outside of the bag and managed to get away with that. No guarantees though and can depend on how fussy that particular gate staff is on the day.
