    Thanks for the games lads, really enjoyed it. Well worth the €9.50 i spent on the cd key anyways!

    It was my first time to play cod in roughly a year and i was never that great at it to begin with, was kinda a bit "oh f-ck" at the start when I was being picked off from miles off! But It even out pretty nicely when picked the teams. (even then it took me till about round 10 to get more than 1 kill :P )

    I own Cod2, but im nearly sure i bought it second hand, I dont think i ever played it online, so hopefully the key isnt banned :/

    I'll install it later on in the week. (My version has like 6 cds or something, those were the good ol days!)

    If someone finds the exact files for promodlive then let me know and I'll get it up on the server.

    Files for COD2 would be nice as well, if they're not the same that is. :)

    Im gonna risk it for a biscuit and try G2Play.net for a COD2 key. Their site is dreadful slow these days, not sure why. I bought off em before and had no issues. Used to play it pre PB, but that was in the days of 56k. I remember it now, predicting where players would go and shooting to counteract my 300+ ping. The PB came along, screwed my ping altogether.

    Ive long lost that CD key! :(

    Ill report back on how things go with them.

    This here seems to the home of the current promod team, link from clanbase which is what their using in their current 2009 league games so must be legit.

    Also found this on clanbase and is what they use currently in their matches
    All matches must be played with ePAM 1.01 (download link) installed by clans on their server. To properly configure ePAM on servers for ClanBase matches, use the appropriate command in the console:

    these mightnt be used everywhere though, you can usually find a download link for the different mods on the league sites.

    That's for CoD2 Kinetic. ePam 1.01 is indeed the latest PAM version for CoD2. ;)

    But Although i only got the cd key on monday, and it was my first time playing online, I did put a few hours into the multiplayer when wired was open in Galway. We also had installed on the computers in college so we used to have a few games there too.

    I installed Cod2 yesterday and tested it online and it worked so im ready for that if it goes ahead.

    Just BTW the auto play menu was not working for me in w7 but just opening the CD and going straight to the setup worked.

    Still no key for G2Play.... God I hate their website! Ive tried searching my orders history, but the page just keeps loading and loading and loading etc etc.

    Sent em a stern email.... stern but fair.:cool:

    Edit: Sweet! 2 emails later, ive got what seems like a CD key. Should be set for some COD2 action next time we fancy it.
