Excuse the delicate nature of the post. We have a 13 week old labrador pup - how often would they typically poo????

Depends on the food but 4 times a day would be pretty normal, at least once for every meal they have. It gets less as time goes on but most dogs poop about twice a day when adults depending again on their food some poop more.

Our pup is just over the 6 months now and will still poop three times a day big diffence from when he was 13 weeks though felt like he pooped every 5 minutes but it passes. Just take him outside regularly 8 times a day would be normal to take a pup out to poop and pee.

I agree with Guineapigrescue, its gets easier as they get older but to establish a routine you should bring him outside everytime he wakes up from a nap and everytime he eats, lots of praise when he does the neccesary business and no bad vibes when he makes a mistake indoors, just clean it up and ignore the pup, chances are its more your mistake than his, Lol. We have a six month old and she's almost always clean, on the rare occasion she makes a mess its usually our fault. :)
