Playing with your mates online issue????

Just got the game there and tried to invite one of my mates to join my session... Not only do I have to go to my friends list on the PS3 Network screen, but when he does receive my invite, he keeps getting "session no longer valid".... and same when he invites me....

Anyone having this issue???

Mine has never connected, always says "Cannot connect to host" and I've never been bothered looking into it

Is this problem with COD MW2 or another version?

Is this a private match or one where anyone can join?

Seems like NAT issues. Very common on PS3

Anyway to fix this??

Can play with friends no bother on Fifa, GTA, Killzone2 and even COD4.

Could not connect at all today though.:(

yea its awful fooking annoying as im playing on my own & always get landed on the **** team , my stats are taking a hammering

Used to be a big problem for me playing EA games mainly. Was on NAT 3 switched to NAT 1 thanks to good ol youtube.

To change Eircom broadband NAT to NAT 1, all anyone needs to do is youtube search "keep it carlow"

Haven't tried inviting a mate yet, however i'm having a potential problem with spec ops. In spec ops can you play the game with a random person or am i just waiting around the lobby waiting for someone who will never come?

Yea mine wont connect either,
And whats with the new way to invite a friend? bloody pain in the ass , having to press PS button go into friends list etc.

pain in the hole this is , everybody on my friends list cant invite or accept invites . im nat type1 so its not at my end.its any invite dosnt matter if private or not. grrrr

its MW2 it wont accept invites in private or normal matches

got the game last night and played into the early hours with my friends no bother. only when i tried to play again today that there has been a problem

this shud fix it for the time being.

One person invites the other to the party. Once the invite is received, that person should sign out of the PSN and then sign back in. Then accept the invite and it should put you into the party!

Works but proper fix is still required.

Didn't work for me, was told i lost connection with the special ops players after 12 seconds.

Anyone know if this is fixed? Got the game at the midnight release and invited friends no problem well into the early hours but when I went to play it last night it wouldn't work for any of us. 5 different guys all trying and all getting the same message.
Very frustrating!! Will try again tonight.

ive given up, might just go ahead and play the solo game
Hopefully a patch is released soon to fix these problems , joining friends etc

Anyone else having problems ?? Its was grand this morning .......but now suddenly I can't play online ? It said something about activision servers ??

Just to point out that even on the 360 trying to get a game going with friends is close to impossible

Myself and a friend tried for ages yesterday. We could get into a party no problem but as soon as we tried to get into a game it just wouldn't let us. We had to play individually in the end.

Matchmaking is a load of me bollix
