    Xtravision Carpenterstown, we have quite a bit of excess stock after preorders, with a limited number of those being Hardened Editions.

    There is refreshments, some food and a giveaway! Shop is dressed up for the occassion, it will be a good buzz!

    You can also pick a FREE DVD when you buy the game, along with a half-price accessory (Bluetooth headsets for 8quid!) Price is around 55 or so. Not final however!

    I just picked up a copy there from my local Tesco, it was out on the shelves so whoever it running the store must not car etoo much bout the release date, the extra vision next door didnt wanna sell it yet :):)

    just to reply to you OP, Longfords Gamestop is NOT opening for midnight release :mad:

    EDIT: Now that I think about it, why in gods name is nearly half the xtra visions in the country opening, yet feck all Gamestops? :S

    hey what do you think of the spec ops. i find the last on in charlie is a bitch on veteran.

    anyway to to spoil the game for anyone. getting the console myself aswell. game dundrum have a midnight launch going aswell.

    i assume all 24hr tesco are doing a midnight launch:D

    I haven't got it pre-booked but I wonder will they let me pre-book it today before its released tonight or will I take my chances and hope the sell it without the pre-booking!? I'm going to my local xtra-vision for it.

    on a related note, i can confirm that Tesco Longford were indeed selling MW2, only to sell out. They didnt have many copies in, apparently.

    EDIT: Seems thats a lie. They sold 2/3 copies before it was removed from the shelves.

    yea they do, dun laoghaire also just retro fitted there whole dvd/cd/game section the other day so when they restocked it they might have put all there stock out. Dont take my word for Dun Laoghaire though, i got mine in Ballybrack earlier today!!

    Dont think tesco take pre orders. For gta they would.nt. And did not have it out til 2am.
