    My housemate left the emercion on all night! I didn't think to check had she turned it off when she left yesterday, and this morning there is boiling hot water coming out of all the cold taps!!!!
    I nearly burnt myself getting into the shower.

    Blah I hate living with students!

    Now I'm no plumber but even with an immersion tank full of hot water why is there hot water coming from your cold taps?

    Sounds wrong, get the landlord to check that out

    Hot water comes out of our cold tap too when the emersions been left on too long. Ouch :(
