control UPC mediabox from behind cabinet door

Hope someone can help with this.

We received a new upc mediabox over the weekend. Generally very happy with features and quality. I want to hide it from view, however, in a cabinet with a wooden door.

Question relates to how I can control it with the remote without having line of sight to the IR receiver on the box. I am happy to place a small IR extension on the door of the cabinet but I can't seem to track down which product would be best to get for this and how this would interface to the box.

I know they are very expensive, but ideally what you are looking for is a harmony RF remote with an IR blaster.

Alternatively for cheaper you have this:

Bought one of THESE at the weekend (€50 in local TV shop). Works like a dream with the UPC DVR. DVR in attic. Daughter's TV in bedroom (wall mounted). Excellent results.:) Comes with a little plug-in cable that allows you to control 3 other devices at the same time.
