    Hi i wonder can anybody help i purchased a 07 407 hdi with the rd4 radio cd player with the hands free blue tooth kit ,the problem is my phone which is a nokia 3120 clasic wont conect via bluetooth.I purchased the car in the north of ireland maybe its set for the english network .

    Bluetooth is the same here as in the UK. I just did a quick google and it seems that a bluetooth module is optional on the RD4 - are you sure you have that module? I put Peugeot RD4 bluetooth into google, have a go yourself and see if any of the info there helps.

    Have you tried pairing it with the car and entering the correct code as it won't do it automatically.

    A guy I work with had a lot of problems with the built in Bluetooth kit in his 407. There's a list of compatible phones-probably online somewhere-if that helps. He had to get a new mobile in the end after trying everything including software updates.

    Maybe this is too simple an idea but worth a try. Clear all the paired devices from the radio that are on it already and then try connect again. Had to do this with my focus connection radio. Worked for me anyway.

    There is a seperate bluetooth ecu. Its not built into the radio.
