    Why does comedy central not broadcast on UPC until after 6pm but yet Comedy Central +1 is on all day?

    Comedy Central (formerly Paramount Comedy) have always timeshared with Nickelodeon on cable here and in the UK since their inception as analogue channels. The +1 variant has only ever been a digital standalone channel. I suppose it suits cable to keep this arrangement.

    Mine starts at 9am and the +1 starts at 10am, both after teleshopping??

    I'm on MMDS if that makes any difference?

    So is the OP I'll wager - but not all MMDS line ups are the same. OP - it's due to capacity restraints and it is a hang over from the timesharing days.

    I never figured out why UPC didn't switch them around though..
