I've just switched to chorus/ntl broadband but need a wireless router for the house (for 2 laptops). Any advice on a wireless router that's reasonably priced, easy-to-use and reliable? Many thanks.

This advice is given with mind numbing regularity. Please please look around.

However what you both need is what is known as a 'cable' router - that is one that does not have an integrated modem for dsl which is the type of bb that Eircom supply. Linksys netgear and Dlink all make suitable models. The linksys wrt54gl is often recommended here.

If you have only just got ntl it is surprising that you dont have a wireless facility built in to the modem they supply as they appear to have been doing that recently.
