eCommerce Software?

    Hi,

    Can anyone recommend any ecommerce software programs to integrate with a website? The website in question has been custom built without the use of any programs.

    I would like to learn of any programs which manage inventory, pricing etc.

    Any comments are very welcome :)

    Your web host should have some free downloads for ecommerce software. There are some as follows: CubeCart, phpShop, osCommerce etc.

    Magento, Zencart or CRE Loaded

    OSCommerce has been surpassed for many years now

    Here are some links to ecommerce shopping carts that may not be hosted on your website but still do the same thing at the end of the day (this saves you having SSL certs etc..):

    Your probably better off downloading & installing the latest package yourself, sometimes the versions on fantastico or what not can be very outdated, and may have serious security flaws,

    Some hosts have dropped this feature, as people not installing the latest versions was giving them trouble.

    OP, as said, OsCommerce is fairly outdated. Look at zencart, magento, prestashop.

    Recently looked at the premium version of Vevocart - very good... and it's built in ASP.net
