    +1000 mortar and pestles are mad! My helium ion project supervisor whipped out the finest mortar and pestle I've ever seen yesterday. It was made out of marble or something, and he kept 'em in this case with red cloth lining, very fancy like. I've never heard anyone say "pestle and mortar" either :P

    You could say the pestle comes first so pestle and mortar is my preferred sequence :)

    Mine is made of granite. I got it in tesco! Tis good for grinding coriander seeds, oh the fragrance!

    Green Day is tonight. I heard people were queuing since early in the morning in the rain... Bit crazy. Hope you enjoyed it Moonbaby! You'll have to tell us how it was later. Never been to the O2 since it was named such. Is it wonderful?!

    I hope nobody got soaked in the rain today :) I was able to dry my shoes on a radiator in work, so I was happy. There were lots of rainbows to admire at least. :D

    i do that queueing in the morning thing heaps for gigs. specially in ireland what iwth the wristband for the pit thing. over here, it's more fluid, you can just walk in, but i still prefer to secure a good spot from the start.

    damn, only a month left till my first big presentation! to a drop in centre for women associated with the city mission. thing serious alcohol/drug problems, quite possibly homeless, or practically so, and heaps of mental health issues.

    that's my first fecking presentation.

    ****ing ****wits at specsavers are leaving me glasses-less for two and a half ****ing weeks more, despite promises of having mine cased as 'urgent' and getting them done within nz, they've sent them over to ****ing melbourne.

    that sucks! for that long i would have done it online, at like a tenth the price or whatever.

    Ok so my test facebook application that i am developing is now up and running( http://bit.ly/ayEpz), it just has comments and ads so far, made 28 cent from poeple clicking ads randomly! But it costs money to host etc, come on baby!
    can't wait til it does stuff properly.

    my bf kindly informed me last night that he'd got me a quorn korma microwave dinner thingy to take to work today for lunch.

    I just spent a good 30 seconds inspecting the packaging, looking for a "v" to make sure it was vegetarian before I realised I was an idiot and put it down.

    kinda eh!!! maybe I should drink this! I only got one and I've kept it, I'm having some too!

    apparantly its a shot that has the kick of like loads of normal cans or something, dunno. It says only have one a day on it, no more. powerfull stuff so. Think it's supposed to be syrupy
