    Looks to me that there was a break in play and the TV director decided to show snippets from earlier in the game

    this is in fact worse than boro last year i think.

    i'm as much a defender of rafa and his team selections as most, but this has been thoroughly appalling.

    again, sunderland haven't had to be that good.

    i'd have preferred to maybe see N'Gog, but, something had to be done.

    i'll even take the Vorinator on at this stage. he can't make the team worse. and he's a had a couple of decent cameos recently.

    the formation hasn't worked, and rafa wouldn't change it.

    the players in reserve should be better.

    the team out there should be putting up a far better show.

    Think we are beginning to see the lack of investment over the last few seasons take effect. Reserve players not near the required standard. Hicks and Gillete must invest or go.
